Sanya Thakur

Sanya is a senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. At UMass, she is a Association of Women in Science Member & a Integrated Concentration in STEM (iCons) Cohort Member. During the Summer of 2024, she was a Research Assistant for UMass Amherst’s Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences as well as an Undergraduate Researcher for UMass Amherst’s College of Natural Sciences. This past summer, she interned at PNC as a Quantitative Analyst Intern. She is part of MAIF’s Quant Arm, and works as a Quantitative Researcher. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, singing, and spending time with family and friends.
